President and Chief Operating Officer
David Corrigan is the proud third generation Corrigan at the helm of the company, overseeing the entire $75 million operation, including supervising the management team and all 600 employees. He strives to make Corrigan an outstanding workplace and ensures that the team delivers “Corrigan Quality” to each and every customer.
Over the course of his 35-year career with Corrigan, David has worked in virtually every position, from cleaning the trucks to his current role as president and COO. Prior to being promoted, he most notably served as operations and general manager at various Corrigan branches. In these roles, he was in charge of dispatching crews and managing the finances and personnel.
David is a 1977 graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned a degree in transportation administration. He serves as vice chairman of the Board of Directors of UniGroup, and is an active member of the Board of Directors of American Moving and Storage Association. In 1994, David was recognized as “Mover of the Year” by Michigan Movers and Warehouseman’s Association.
When David is not in the office or enjoying time with his wife, children and nine grandchildren, he spends his free time traveling the country, taking in all the sights on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
