When it comes to a customer’s home or business and their belongings, we are the trusted partner in moving services. Each member of our team undergoes an extensive background check. We’ve also built a state-of-the-art moving simulation studio within our facility to ensure our crews are equipped with the necessary skills and know-how to guide our clients through the moving process prior to entering the field. Our entire team of experienced, highly trained, and dedicated staff is continuously raising the industry standard.
All new employees complete a hands-on training session at the Kathleen Corrigan Training center. Here they learn the necessary techniques of the moving industry prior to being sent out to a customer’s home. Many advanced classes are offered for our crew through the Corrigan Academy, including packing training, international moving training, crew leader training, and CDL-A driving training. No other moving company offers the level of hands-on training that the Corrigan Academy offers.
One of the highlights of the Corrigan Academy is our in-house CDL-A Driver Training program. While a nationwide driver shortage has been an issue in the transportation industry for years, Corrigan has created our own CDL-A driver training school to alleviate this problem. By training and promoting current employees, we not only have more CDL-A drivers on staff to service our customers, but we are also able to give our employees a lifelong skill.

Steve, it starts with you. The interactions with you are the reason we selected
Corrigan. You are very good at the details on estimating, you have a lot of experience,
and you are able to educate us on the process – sure, that is the baseline. But, you are
very aware that, although you have the confidence to know how it happens, you know
we do not, plus, we are stressed, over-loaded with myriad details related to the move,
and trying to choose a company for the move is one more of those. You were calm,
patiently explaining, always with a steady confidence, and never coming over that we
were just another form to fill out. So thank you for bringing humanity to our encounter.
Kristy, when the business switched over to you, things did not change. Although what
we worked on was all about contracts and details and schedules, you kept it light and
easy and fast. As an example, when the conversation turned to delivery time window,
you did not just give us a generic 2 week window with no information, you shared out all
the moving parts of how the container goes from here to there with where the
uncertainties were in that process. Having those details changes our view of it from
“black-box” to being included in the process. With empathy, you included us as part of
the team and process.
The crew – the whole lot of them were great. Very nice, easy going, crazy hard
working! They kept everything straight. Individuals changed day to day, that was not a
problem at all. New folks slipped right in and charged on! Them being on-site again,
further supported our feelings of confidence in the whole process.

expertise and care in assuring a successful outcome.
I originally worked with Kristy in 2020 when I moved from Michigan to Alaska. I had no experience or
knowledge of the magnitude of such a move and was apprehensive. In my search for a competent
moving company, I felt an immediate sense of trust in Kristy. Her knowledge, meticulous attention to
detail, and advocacy for her client were obvious which led me to select Corrigan from a list of many
competitors. My move was accomplished with ease.
Five years later, I am now returning to Michigan and though tempted to select a mover based in
Anchorage, I called Corrigan on the chance that Kristy was still with the company. I was thrilled to find
Kristy and immediately set aside any thought of selecting another mover.
Once again, she has been exceptional. This time, I had many questions about how to minimize cost (this
move was at my expense) and Kristy patiently and thoroughly explained my options. Most impressively,
she is handling my move as though it were her own. She has a toughness and no-nonsense way about
