2016 Corrigan Awards Banquet Event Summary

Last month Corrigan Moving Systems held their 2016 awards banquet to celebrate all the accomplishments of our Sales and Operations teams. This event is always an excellent opportunity to come together as a team, reflect of the past years’ successes, and brainstorm ways to raise the bar even higher in 2017. We set a record with 24 salespeople achieving a million dollars or more in sales this year!

Booking Awards:

The Booking Awards are given out to the top salespeople in the company who book over a million dollars in sales during the year. Congratulations to all the salespeople who made the list! It takes a lot of hard work and dedication in order to reach this mark.

The one million dollar bookers this year are Mike Lenyk (Rochester, NY), Steve Wayward (Grand Rapids), Jeff Abraham (Novi), Marabeth Galardi (Rochester, NY), Chase Robison (Flint), Gary Miller (Novi), Rob Galardi (Rochester, NY), Craig James (Auburn Hills), Doug DeMarois (Farmington Hills), Richard Nagrocki (Air & Sea), Rick Bruce (Farmington Hills), Jason Carnesecchi (Chicago), Don Thill (Farmington Hills), Cheryl Buckley (Grand Rapids), Luke Winstrom (Grand Rapids), and Dan Burke (Ann Arbor).

Sales reps who book over two million dollars earn a spot on the prestigious President’s Diamond Team. On the team this year are Rob Thibert (Novi), Pam Scicluna (Air & Sea), Mike Steensma (Grand Rapids), John Rzeppa (Auburn Hills), Melinda Becker (Bay City), Fred Glore (Boston), Bryan Steensma (Grand Rapids), and our top overall salesperson last year Mike Murphy (Air & Sea).

Paul Corrigan Excellence Award:

Paul Corrigan Excellence Award – Melinda Becker

This prestigious and coveted award is the highest individual honor an individual can earn at Corrigan.  It is presented to an individual who exemplifies the traits that Paul Corrigan represents: Integrity – Innovation – Leadership – Hard Work. The winner this year is Melinda Becker! Melinda has proven that she can do it all. She can sell any service line, work in any department, and always puts the customer first. Congratulations Melinda. This is a well deserved award.

Branch Operations Awards:

President’s Excellence Award – Flint

While there are several Operations awards given out at the banquet, only one branch is awarded the President’s Excellence Award.  This award is presented to the branch that performs the best across the board in five different measurable categories. The winner of this award in 2016 is the Flint branch. Congratulations!

Coordinator of the Year Awards:

Coordinator of the Year – Catrina Sampson (Auburn Hills), Bonnie Robison (Flint), and Joanne Onderdonk (Rochester, NY)

Coordinator of the year recipients are chosen based upon customer feedback from local and interstate moving surveys for 2016. Our coordinators serve such an important role in the move process and it doesn’t go unnoticed by our sales team or customers.

Corrigan Residential Salesperson of the Year:

Residential Salesperson of the Year – Gary Miller   

Residential salespeople are evaluated in the following areas: increased bookings from last year, estimating accuracy, quality scores, and closing ratio. The winner this year is Gary Miller, who had just a terrific overall year. Congratulations Gary.
